Why Does Anxiety Make It Difficult to Function?

Text Therapy
The image that comes to mind when people think about therapy is of a person sitting on a couch talking to someone who is taking notes.  A new type of therapy that is being recognized as ideal in many situations and has numerous benefits is called text therapy.

One of the most important factors of the effectiveness of this type of therapy is the company which offers it.  Talkspace offers the most effective mobile therapy solution for people.  With Talkspace online therapy, anyone can get therapy without traveling to an office – and for significantly less money than traditional therapy

How many times did you find yourself in a position where you wish you had someone to talk to – someone who would understand – someone who could help?  How often did you need that person to be available right NOW?

When You Least Expect It -- And It's Bad News

Ever feel like someone hit you with a baseball bat?  Right across the gut? Hard. Bad news can often affect us like that.  It hurts.  Deep.

In recent years, I wonder what is wrong with me when something traumatic happens in my life. I don't handle it as well as in the past. Does aging force me to deal with things differently than when I was younger? Does age make it more difficult to deal with stress?

Do You Have It All? Are You Happy?

If someone were to ask you if you 'have it all'  or "How happy are you?" do you know how you would answer?  Would you answer quickly with "Of course, I'm happy"  or would you think about it for a moment and then say "Yes, I am as happy as I could hope to be."

There are actual Happiness Quizzes you can take online which were developed by psychologists to help you determine your state of mind.  Personally, I don't need to take a quiz to read my happiness thermometer.

Even when we go through dark times we can focus on the good in our lives; things we are grateful for, and look to better times ahead. The 'attitude of gratitude' buzz on the internet over the past couple years has certainly made more people aware that we need to daily remind ourselves of what is good and positive in our lives.

Free Your Mind Now

No more pain.  No more tears.  No more worry.  No more stress. No more let-downs.  No more discouragements.  No more anxiety. No more bad news.  No more.

It's over.  I'm done.  I can't go on that way any longer.

It's a new day.  I will now live in hope.  In anticipation of good things.

Turning my back on the past and concentrating on the future. Looking ahead instead of behind.

Can I stay here?  Will I be pulled back?

I must be strong.  I must focus.  I can do it.  I must.

Will you help me?
